Junior Electrical Engineer
The selected candidate will join the dedicated team and report directly to the Instrumentation & Automation Team Leader, supporting the development of control systems and instrumentation design for plants in the Energy & Chemicals, Oil & Gas, and Industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Design of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems;
- Medium-voltage distribution and MV/LV transformer substations;
- Low-voltage distribution networks;
- Calculation of voltage drop, short-circuit current, grounding system conductivity, and insulation levels;
- Emergency and safety systems;
- Fire detection systems, EVAC systems, access control systems, CCTV systems, and LAN networks;
- Building Automation systems.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in a technical/scientific discipline;
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in the design of power generation, transformation, and distribution systems, with installed electrical capacities exceeding 5 MW, developed in industrial and tertiary sectors, will be considered an advantage;
- Knowledge of software such as AMPERE, CADELET, DIALUX (or equivalent), AutoCAD 2D, Revit, and quantity surveying software such as PRIMUS by ACCA (or equivalent) is required;
- Strong motivation and interest in deepening technical knowledge;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Candidates with at least 5 years of previous experience in the electrical design of industrial plants will be given preferential consideration;
- Availability for short business trips within Italy;
- Native Italian speaker and preferably knowledge of the English language.
