Senior Mechanical Engineer

The selected candidate will join the HVAC mechanical design team and work alongside senior professionals, with the objective of consolidating and developing technical and design skills in the field of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and sizing of HVAC equipment, distribution systems and instrumentation systems, with particular focus on air duct systems;
• Collaborate in the design and sizing of gas distribution networks (medical, fuel, oxidizing and inert gases);
• Support the design of fluid and water distribution networks;
• Collaborate in the development of fire protection and process piping systems;
• Prepare technical documentation at preliminary, detailed and executive design stages;
• Interact with electrical and electro-instrumentation design teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Diploma in Thermotechnical Industrial Engineering;
• Previous experience of 5–10 years in similar roles or in HVAC systems design;
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and Revit;
• Basic knowledge of the main HVAC system sizing criteria;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Team-oriented attitude and ability to interact with technical specialists from other disciplines;
• Availability for short business trips in Italy and abroad;
• Native Italian speaker and preferably knowledge of English.

Knowledge of HVAC calculation and sizing software, quantity surveying tools and BIM design software will be considered an advantage.

• Gross annual salary (RAL) ranging from €42,000 to €50,000, depending on actual experience and skills;

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Possibility to choose among the following office locations: Milan, Rome Fiumicino, Trieste, San Daniele del Friuli, Catania and Trieste.
