Electrical Engineer - Building

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the design of electrical systems for building projects, including large-scale commercial, residential, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems;
• Design of medium-voltage distribution networks and MV/LV transformer substations;
• Design of low-voltage distribution networks;
• Calculation of voltage drop, short-circuit current, grounding system conductivity, and insulation levels;
• Design of emergency and safety systems;
• Design of fire detection systems, EVAC systems, access control systems, CCTV systems, and LAN networks;
• Design and implementation of Building Automation systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering;
• Proven experience of at least 5 years in the design and management of electrical systems within the Building sector;
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations, codes, and standards;
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Ampere, Cadelet, Dialux (or equivalent) and quantity surveying software (e.g., MOSAICO);
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills;
• Strong teamwork attitude, with a customer-focused approach and practical problem-solving mindset;
• Availability for short business trips within Italy.
