Instrumentation Engineer
STI Engineering Srl is an international engineering company present worldwide in 9 different countries, offering multidisciplinary design and consultancy services in the Civil, Industrial, Energy & Chemicals, and Marine sectors for over thirty years. To strengthen the company's staff, it is looking for a Senior Instrumentation & Automation Engineer.
The chosen candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Knowledge of process control instrumentation (P&ID mechanization, definition of typical automation for motors, valves, etc.).
- Development of technical specifications for instrumentation.
- Development of technical specifications for regulation valves.
- Evaluation of technical offers for instrumentation and issuance of technical opinions.
- Evaluation of technical offers for control valves and issuance of technical opinions.
- Development of detailed engineering for instrumentation (typical installation, loop wiring, cable routes).
- Follow-up with instrumentation, valve, and package suppliers.
- Participation in FAT and SAT tests.
- Field activities: surveys.
- Support for other engineering disciplines, I&A Manager, and/or Project Manager.
- Collaboration with the sales office in drafting offers.
- Possible coordination of junior resources for reporting.
Requirements:
- Degree in industrial engineering (preferably automation, chemistry, and electronics).
- Minimum experience of 5-8 years in the engineering sector for process plants.
- Motivation and interest in studying technical aspects.
- Good project team coordination skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and written and oral communication.
- Availability for short trips in Italy/abroad.
- Italian native speaker. Fluent in English both spoken and written.
