Project Manager Energy&Chemicals
STI Engineering Srl, an international engineering company operating in 8 different countries worldwide and providing multidisciplinary design and consulting services in the Civil, Industrial, Energy & Chemicals, and Marine sectors for over thirty years, is looking for a Project Manager - Energy & Chemicals.
Reporting directly to the Business Line Director, you will be responsible for:
- Managing one or more contracts, ensuring compliance with the defined contractual conditions that have been shared in advance with the Sales Manager.
- Identifying and implementing the production strategy, related activities, and managing the project budget.
- In collaboration with the Operation Manager, identifying the project team, assigning tasks, organizing project activities, informing, motivating, planning, and monitoring activities.
- Interfacing with the client regarding the technical aspects of the project.
- Conducting periodic meetings to verify alignment with the forecasts regarding project progress and the quality of deliverables.
- Executing technical progress control, coordinated among the various disciplines.
- Planning and managing the billing schedule.
- Informing the Sales Manager of any relevant issues in the client relationship or that may affect the contract.
- Conducting the closing meeting and preparing the project closure report to capitalize on know-how and disseminate results, solutions, and anything necessary to improve effectiveness and efficiency for future projects.
- Preparing reports for the reference Project Manager.
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:
- Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Background in the chemical industry or mechanical plant engineering.
- Aptitude for managing and coordinating work teams.
- Knowledge of construction timelines and the ability to manage work scheduling accordingly.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and written and oral communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a team and interface with technical representatives from other disciplines.
- Willingness to travel briefly within Italy/abroad to the relevant construction sites.
- Native Italian speaker with fluent English, both spoken and written.
Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
