Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer at STI engineering (Design & Consulting) located in Sohar. The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for managing projects, developing mechanical engineering design solutions, using computer-aided design (CAD) software, and coordinating various aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects with other team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the related field.
- Extensive experience with EPC Contracts, showcasing proficiency in managing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, and achieving successful project execution.
- Well-versed in managing Industrial Projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Previous experience as a Client representative or Consultant is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in Project Engineering and Project Management.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Experience in coordinating and managing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects.
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to analyze problems and design cost-effective solutions.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
- Professional certification or license is a plus.
- Overseeing the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components for heavy industrial applications.
- Effectively communicating project status, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with conveying systems, compressed air, compressors, boilers, generators, and other industrial equipment.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Excellent analytical skills for addressing complex problems and developing innovative solutions.
- Must have experience with managing different suppliers and vendors.
