Team Leader Instrumentation&Automation
STI Engineering srl is looking for a
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing control systems and instrumentation for plants in the Energy & Chemicals, Oil & Gas, and Industrial sectors. Reporting directly to the COO, they will manage the team's resources, oversee project planning, and ensure that deadlines, costs, and quality standards are met. Additionally, the role requires providing technical support in preparing new proposals related to the discipline.
Key Responsibilities of the I&A Team:
- Process control instrumentation (P&ID mechanization, definition of automation typicals for motors, valves, etc.).
- Development of technical specifications for instrumentation and control valves.
- Technical evaluation of offers for instrumentation and control valves, issuing technical opinions.
- Detailed engineering development for instrumentation (installation drawings, loop wiring, cable routing).
- Supplier follow-up for instrumentation, valves, and packages.
- Participation in FAT and SAT testing.
- On-site activities: surveys and inspections.
- Support for other engineering disciplines.
- Client interface, ensuring effective communication with discipline counterparts.
Requirements:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferably Automation, Chemical, or Electronic).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering for process plants.
- Strong motivation and interest in technical deep-dives.
- Experience in leading project teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal).
- Availability for short trips (Italy/abroad).
- Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken).
